Stepping Stone Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Sacramento, CA, dedicated to fostering community engagement and providing essential support for woman and their afflicted families seeking recovery from substance use disorders.

Our Mission& Vision
Mission:
Our mission is to empower women on their recovery journey by creating a supportive community that provides access to resources, peer support, and holistic recovery programs to facilitate lasting change and improve their overall well-being.
Vision:
Stepping Stone Foundation aims to establish services such as building a partnership with the local detox and create a more substantial change in our already established Sober Living Environment to promote comprehensive recovery through peer support networks, family involvement services, affordable housing, and access to recovery programs. Our primary clientele will include women and their families afflicted by addiction who need affordable living options and holistic recovery programs. With any success we hope to expand our Sober Living facilities and provide regular maintenance and upgrades to support our growing clientele.
Our Causes
What We Do
Sponsorships for housing at sober living environments for men, women and children who are homeless, coming out of rehab or detox until they can get on their feet.
Supplies for sober living homes to provide for residents and their children such as bunk beds, bedding, furniture, TV’s, tablets, etc.
Funding for recreational items and events such as garden beds & playsets at these sober living homes, camping trips, yoga classes, budgeting classes, recovery conferences.
What We’ve Done
With little funding we’ve been able to sponsor two women for housing at sober living homes taking them off the street, providing them with resources for staying clean and sober, getting a job and reconnecting them with their families and children.
We were able to sponsor 8 women from sober living homes to attend a recovery conference in Tahoe connecting them with fellowship, recovery and a lifetime experience.

We aim to provide responsible and reliable services dedicated to reducing the stigma surrounding addiction. With trust and transparency, we can integrate resilience and responsibility with compassion and long lasting community support.
2026 Goals
Stepping Stone Foundation will operate as a nonprofit organization funded through donations, grants, and fundraising events. Our focus is on providing accessible support services while maintaining financial sustainability to ensure long-term impact on the community.
